It is Josam’s distinct honor and pleasure to present RKR with the 2023 Craig Swider Prestige Award.

The transformation of RKR into a well-respected drain representative in the Colorado market was at the forefront of partners Paul Prutch and Kurt O’Donnell’s plans when they purchased the company in 2016. Although RKR was already a reputable manufacturers representative in the market, both Paul and Kurt knew that there was untapped potential on the Josam side of the business. While both understood that this goal was not going to be an easy one they were prepared to invest their own time and resources in accomplishing it. Paul and Kurt remained committed to their goal and never swayed from the plan to accomplish the goal. As time passed and RKR invested in the resources, they were not only able to capitalize on existing relationships but also gain new ones at all levels of the sales channel including engineers, contractors and wholesalers. In due time customers that did not give RKR an opportunity as a drain representative were starting to. It is my opinion today that RKR has established itself as one of the premier drain reps in the industry. I urge any of you that are contemplating taking your organization to the next level of a drain rep to reach out to them as a colleague for guidance.

Today Paul and Kurt are supported by an excellent inside and outside staff including Ed, Conor, Jimmy, Terrie, Jake, Kevin, Brett, Marcus, Drew, Albert and Joe along with an excellent warehouse team. A big thank you to the entire team at RKR for your hard work and investing in Josam. RKR is a testament to the success that Josam has experienced, and we are confident will continue to endure. Proudly place that Green Emerald besides the other awards that you have in your trophy case. They are all deservedly earned.
